Frequently asked questions

Is the content truly gone?: Yes. Pages are rasterized to JPEG images before export. The original text and vector data is destroyed.
Is my PDF uploaded?: No — redaction runs entirely in your browser.
Will the file be larger?: Yes — rasterized pages are larger than vector PDFs. For smaller output, reduce the render scale.
