Merge PDF files

Combine any number of PDF files into one, in the order you want — all in your browser.

.pdf · up to 100 MB

Preserve bookmarks/outlines from each source PDF.

Merging PDFs is the most common PDF task there is — contracts, receipts, homework, reports. This tool does it 100% in your browser: no upload, no waiting, no privacy concerns. Drop as many PDFs as you want, drag to reorder them, and get a single file back in seconds. There's no page limit and no file size ceiling beyond what your browser can hold in memory (~100 MB is comfortable).

How to use merge pdf files

  1. 1
    Drop your PDFs

Drag multiple PDF files into the drop zone, or click to pick them. You can add more later.

  2. 2
    Reorder if needed

Drag the thumbnails to rearrange. The final PDF will follow this exact order.

  3. 3
    Click Merge

Merging happens entirely in your browser. Even a 50-page merge finishes in under a second.

  4. 4
    Download

Save the combined PDF. Your source files are never uploaded anywhere.

Frequently asked questions

Are my PDFs uploaded to your servers?
No. Merging runs in JavaScript inside your browser tab. Nothing is sent anywhere.
Is there a file limit?
No hard limit. Browsers can comfortably handle 100 MB total across all files. Above that, use desktop software.
Will bookmarks and links be preserved?
Yes — internal links and bookmarks are kept by default. You can disable this in options if you want a flat file.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Not directly. Unlock them first with our free PDF Unlock tool, then come back and merge.
What's the max number of PDFs?
There's no fixed cap. Practical limit is a few hundred files — your browser will warn before it runs out of memory.
Does the output have a watermark?
No. Never. We don't add anything to your files.
